Recently, the "Qimin" large language model in the field of ancient agricultural literature was launched in Beijing. It was developed by the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Big Data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Institute of Agricultural Information of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, in collaboration with the Hubei Provincial Library, Huazhong Agricultural University Library, Zhengzhou Normal University College of Communication, and Zhonghua Book Company Guolian (Beijing) Digital Media Technology Co., Ltd. Dai Xin, Deputy Director of the Institute of Agricultural Information of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, stated that this model is trained on a large number of ancient agricultural texts from China, drawing wisdom from these texts and delving deep into ancient agricultural techniques and farming experiences.
